Free Texas Holdem Poker

When: Tuesday nights - games start 7pm.

Not Sure How to Play???

Come and learn from 6:30pm in a friendly informal atmosphere.

Just remember the name of the game is "FUN"

Poker is the latest craze to impact the pub & club industry with over 100,000 players participating in poker events each week in venues throughout Australia. Since Australian Joe Hachem won over $10,000,000 at the 2005 World Series of Poker, the poker boom has soared in Australia, and this boom is set to continue with many regional entertainment companies offering poker as their premier form of entertainment.

Your first 5000 in chip value is free - if you lose all of them then you can rebuy more for only $10.

All pool money is returned to the winning players, and the club also donates prizes for the final table.

Probus

PROBUS is an association that aims to meet the needs of active retirees who join together in clubs, the basic purpose of which is to provide regular opportunities for them to keep their minds active, expand their interests, stay healthy through activities, benefit from training programs, network amongst like-minded people and to enjoy the fellowship of new friends.

Probus can provide members of the community with fresh ideas to enrich and fulfil their lives in retirement.

Life Members

The Probus Club of Dungog meets at the Dungog Bowls, Sport & Recreation Club on the 1st Friday of each month. 10am morning tea, 10.30am meeting. We endeavour to have some interesting guest speakers for these meeting where possible.

The club goes out on day trips regularly and have at least one longer trip each year. Some of our previous outings this year have been to a cruise on the Manning River, Honeycomb Valley at Nabiac and a day trip by rail motor to Taree.

We have several trips planned for the rest of this year including Christmas in July.
